Dimensions
as reportedLocomotive No. 20 was one of two new 50-ton locomotives with 40-ton tenders and six-foot driving wheels, originally intended as passenger locomotives but for the time being used to haul freight; built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works, they arrived a few days before September 26, 1893. "Bob" Orr was the driver of No. 20. They had all the latest improvements, including a speed indicator figured up to ninety miles an hour (regular speed seventy), a recorder for the superintendent showing the rate the engine ran on any part of the line and the time it stopped at any station, a steam gauge showing the heat of the attached passenger coaches, and chime whistles.
