1893-02-22The Canada Atlantic railway company intended converting car No. 37 of its rolling stock into a private Pullman car. Separately, the company's employees broke up some forty of the old cars in use when the line was first opened, to reuse their wheels for new freight cars, and a new, beautifully finished official private car, the company's first, built at Cobourg, arrived at the C.A.R. station and was being fitted onto its trucks.
This is almost certainly a different #37

An announced intention, not a report of the conversion.
