| 1896-11-20 | 1896-11-20 | The Ottawa, Arnprior and Parry Sound Railway Company | A freight train of thirty-five cars passed through here on the OA & PS Ry. on Wednesday, among the cars being three loaded for Parry Sound, being the first through freight from Ottawa for that place. It is predicted that when the line is ballasted throughout and the wharves built on Georgian Bay, the amount of through traffic from east to west will be enormous. Transcribed by Colin J.
