| 1926-09-01≥ | By 1 September 1926 (the issue date), the paper reported: "When the coal tender jumped the tracks a short distance east of Rock Lake, Algonquin Park, yesterday, shortly before noon, the Canadian National passenger train from Scotia to Ottawa was delayed for one hour 20 minutes." The engineer stopped the train; the crew got the tender back on the rails with "frogs" and without a wrecking crew. | Ottawa Journal 1926-09-01(Transcribed by Colin J. Churcher in 'Local Railway...) |
